I forgot not all clients do this and thought it was an anti-joke or something for a honest second.
Heyo! Just another random who’s moving over from centralized social media to the Fediverse. Mastodon wasn’t too bad but I love anything like Reddit!
Games, anime, Japanese, food, and music are my loves. Fanfic beats food tho, I can read for hours instead!

I’m in a beginner Python class and was getting my ass kicked by a lab last week, and although I hate them with all my heart, I tried to use a chatbot to see if it was worthwhile since my friend who’s been doing Java for about 3 years and her classmate frequently seem to use it.
That shit was so unhelpful, as it gave me stuff that was definitely way above the level we’re currently at, and even then my teacher would’ve known it wasn’t my code based on how it was written. In the end I just asked my teacher for help on the first part of the assignment, and when I struggled in the second I actually took the time to go through my code step by step to see where it was going wrong, and that shit was more satisfying in the end.
It just makes me think of those dumbasses who used Google Translate for Spanish class and would use a verb tense we’ve absolutely never learned in class cause they’re too dumb to even cheat right.
Well, I feel a decent amount of people knew it was selling their data, and just used it anyway thinking they’d get a discount from that sold data. Unfortunate but the modern reality we live in, and hey, nobody’s perfect as we’re all probably using a service or two that it’s totally bad for you (especially games)
But straight up stealing money from the YouTubers who thought they were getting sponsorship money? Now that shits crazy, and sounds illegal from the start. I mean how did they plan to respond to this once they were found out? Call me a fool but I wouldn’t expect a company to literally steal from their advisers/promoters.
I’m a baby in the FF fandom, 15 was my first ever FF game, although I do know a decent amount due to my mom being a longtime fan since FF6. I found it funny that the game was advertised as “good for newcomers and old fans” cause all I felt was disappointment about my first ever FF game, while my mom sat there pissed thinking about how she wasted money on a day one edition (that we didn’t open till December 2024, lol)
That game… I wanted to like it, but after hearing about how good the previous FFs are, and just knowing how good other JRPG series are, I can’t believe they flopped so hard like that. Good thing is the other games can’t be worse, so that’s nice.
I new it was bad for devs on Apple, but holy shit. Now I finally know why Ankidroid is free on everything else but $25 on Apple. Atrocious, that shit is extortion…
