Why? Just sort by Date
Why? Just sort by Date
Sorry but no.
OneDrive would never back up a Downloads folder, that is just silly with the amount of data it gathers. Would fill up MS servers in no time.
The only folders it may put automatically in OneDrive are Pictures, Documents and Desktop.
But wouldn’t that target Trump since his original name was Drumpf or something?
I hope they clash hard over it
Those were different times.
They are not relevant anymore with current self hosting setups.
In Linux it is still not.
But why? What is the point?
That you can give 2 different files the same name? Because that would confuse the hell out of every regular user. Especially if you work on a network share and have an entire directory full of same named files because everyone and their grandma throws their files in there.
It is almost as bad as Case Sensitive Usernames and email.
It’s not Win people. It is dumb people.
Any Infrastructure IT guy can tell you where specific files are stored, it is their job. Whether they mainly use Windows, Mac or Linux doesn’t matter.
Because too many developers don’t understand cybersecurity.
As is obvious from some of these comments here.
Whats next, you want domain admin access to every computer/server you touch as well?
Same. TCL is pretty good at being a dumb TV.
Wouldn’t trust it if it is connected to the internet though.
Mine too, just takes a while to go through all the google, android, TLC screens before it gets there.
Good thing that is only at the start.
You can do that with any small connected pc.
But you don’t need a dumb TV.
The smart part isn’t what makes those TVs bad. It is the internet connection that sends you ads, scrapes your data, causes lags and reboots because of updates, and makes your network less secure.
Just connect an other device over HDMI like you would a dumb TV, and never connect it to the internet like you would a dumb TV.
You don’t even have to reject the terms of services, just never connect it to the internet. Not even once.
Won’t even be able to send rejections to a server.
I can recommend TLC, they can be used as a dumb TV and never need an internet connection if you just use it as a screen. Wouldn’t recommend them with internet though since the remote literally has a microphone build-in.
And I suppose they work perfectly every single time?
Including the VBAs and Macros?
That argument would be fine, if only the Linux community could actually agree on what is a good distro.
You think that Microsoft lobbyist would have had any traction if the user experience was any decent?
Of course not. They wouldn’t have had any reason to switch.
That is the biggest issue with Linux at the moment. It takes more maintenance than Windows. And there are a lot less people with the knowledge to setup and maintain those environments.
At the end of the day, the point of those environments is to allow the user to work in them. But if the user is unable to work properly because of the environment, then that environment must be changed. It is as simple as that.
Feels like a convoluted way of using an external hard drive.
But that is only looking from one perspective.
That repair man is going around to many peoples freezing houses. They are also freezing their butts off all day. And not just one period in winter, every single day of winter.
And when they fix a house, they don’t get to enjoy the warmth afterwards. They have to go to the next freezing house.
Understand that impact.
Every single issue that occurs with those applications gets thrown in our laps to fix.
This includes all of yours as well as all your colleagues.
Probably paid them to do the article
