Google tried to get Dart into browsers at some point. It didn’t really work out.
Now we have WASM which are Java applets in disguise, you can use pretty much any language these days, with the caveat that you’re sending several megabytes of binary blobs instead of just a simple script.
Yes I would give actual money to see this native and supported.

Unfortunately that support would be worthless if only firefox does it.
