I guess it comes down to the weight you give the word “possible” in your sentence. If possible means extremely likely (and there are logical reasons to believe so) then taking responsibility makes sense.

Because Reddit sucks, and moderators know that better than the average user.
Plus, if they’re the ones that can make their communities on Lemmy or Kbin, they wouldn’t lose their power, just the majority of their subscribers.
That last reason is why most will say no. Still it’s worth an effort I think

They say they use Apple Podcasts, so depending what platforms they mean exactly, Overcast might work. It’s definitely my pick of podcast app as well
