87·9 months agoNo, cause you have an expectation of privacy in a shower. You don’t have an expectation of privacy in public.
No reasonable person has an expectation of privacy on a public wifi, hell most people wont even connect to a public wifi because they dont want to take the unnecessary risk. Especially with a public wifi provided by such stellar companies like Walmart.
Which is why the entire argument is as stupid as getting angry at people looking at your junk when you’re running around naked in public.
complaining about a lack of privacy on a public wifi node is like complaining that people are perverts for looking at your genitals when you run down the street naked.

Seriously. Apps are stupid. They exist solely to steal your data, and they do that by asking for insane permissions.
And the overwhelming majority of this could be avoided if consumers didnt just straight up braindead refuse to use the actual website because “hurr hurrr I do nothing wrong why I have to hide anything I WANT MAH CONVENIENCE! REAL OR PERCEIVED!”
Why the fuck did your dumb ass install a fucking app for a website you can easily navigate and access?

I dont know.
If I had my choice between a CPU that has a vulnerability that can only be exploited if the system is already compromised
or a CPU that are full of oxidation cancer, or frying themselves and doing irreparable damage… Which the company is being excessively shady about concretely admitting to any RMA promises and wwill all eventually die in short order…
I think I’m gonna go with the Ryzen and not leave leave my computer outside at defcon.
