Update: this has been popping in and out of my head ever since I saw it, and I started learning Rust yesterday. They have won.

This might just be the thing that makes me learn Rust

I have the opposite situation, I had to willingly stop myself from typing :w while using Word. And I installed the vim extension in vscode, which leads to me typing :w when using someone else’s setup.

I deleted my reddit account and browse lemmy daily. I do miss a few subs on reddit concerning ancient greece/greek and corvids, but it is what it is. I’m fairly satisfied with lemmy.

I don’t really see a problem with saying things like “my female friends” or “my female colleagues”, when it’s used as an adjective.
