Is… Tharg unusual? Like, the rest are exaggerated for humor, but I’ve met more than one Tharg. Hell, at one point if I switched majors I’d be Tharg.

Frankly, it’s what I did, too, after coming out of Uni-level C.
My code was goddamn unreadable.
It’s a joke on a tweet about a guy spending a multi-hour flight just staring straight ahead.
It’s really special to not have ternary, but have Elvis.

Yeah, it’s not a joke, it literally happens all the time, and an error after block close generally means the system doesn’t think it’s closed, usually because a bracket isn’t paired off.
It’s by design very verbose and “English”-like, like instead of x=y*z it would go “MULTIPLY y BY z GIVING x”, the idea was that it would read almost like natural language, so that non-tech staff could understand it.
People thought COBOL would let managers write code.
I feel like there shoul be an ISO/DIN to define this.
It’s incredibly annoying, though, that you can only copy boards in the app, and when you do it makes triplicate of all the cards.
If youre lazy/busy enough, doing basic checks on the input is enough boilerplate to package out.
