Ya, I’ve seen a few of these more than once as well. But my nephew probably watched the new buzz movie like 30 times.

So, kids rewatch things a million times is what I’m getting here. My 6 year old nephew has probably seen every toy story movie a couple dozen times. He loves Buzz.
Not sure if Lemmy is better or if reddit has just fallen so hard over the years. There’s either been a stark decline recently or some time away has given me fresh eyes to see how bad it is. It’s just a social media feed like any other now. The comments are noticably dumber and low effort rains supreme.
Paying $15 a month for “free” shipping which is also included in the price point of the products sounds like a stupid practice too. Lots of people doing it though.
I miss when Amazon prime would refund you the remainder of the month when you cancelled… I have no interest in being a prime member and actively avoid buying anything from Amazon. But sometimes I need something I can’t find locally ASAP and giving them a quarter or two to have prime for a day was a solid option.
I’m not advocating for violence, but I’m shocked more of these people don’t become domestic terrorists. Like if this happened to me, it would likely turn me into some type of real life joker character with nothing to lose. I’d learn to make bombs. I’m shocked more people who get profoundly wronged like this do not do extreme things. Hell, I’m amazed the folks who get cancer or other terminal illnesses that ruin them and their families financially don’t suicide bomb some republican politicians.
I clicked at least a few ads a week average on Reddit. All entirely on accident, closed them immediately. So, your numbers make perfect sense to me. Funny to think reddit charged someone near a dollar for that millisecond before I closed it…
AirBnB has destroyed every “sleepy mountain town” in the country at this point. The only people left are the millionaires who owned their homes and a local business or two.
