personally I love it when websites solve this problem with hover hints, theres something satisfying about seeing a paragraph of text on hover that just answers all my questions. not sure how that’d work for people viewing on mobile though

not quite
I haven’t heard about it before today but I tried asking it what separates it from other LLMs and apparently the answer is just that it does a google search and shows you the source its summarizing, which if true is not very compelling, and if a hallucination or missing details then its at least not very compelling as a search replacement
Good bot
I’m super happy with Nobara. As a beginner its got everything I need without feeling too limiting
I just use konsole
Did OP pay you yet?
dear Lord lmfao
what are the lucky 10000?
i found their site and in confused by this part of their intro page:
“That was how the idea started to grow in my head. After that, I began to find existing solutions in the self-hosting space with similar backup functionality and the performance level of the App-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named. I found that the current solutions mainly focus on the gallery-type application. However, I want a simple-to-use backup tool with a native mobile app that can view photos and videos efficiently.”
what is the main thing that separates immich from other “gallery-type applications”? wouldnt all comparable apps have some kind of gallery?
this is cool, I was just looking for some examples of good xfce Rice’s the other day
can you elaborate
lmfao savage
this is actually cute as hell
I think it’s kinda sweet for a kid. I mean what’s cooler than a robot when you’re 7? that’s pretty much the pinnicle of “cool” at that age, or at least it was for me. So to compare a crush to a robot for a kid is similar to shakespear comparing thier lover to “a summer’s day” or Selena Gomez comparing thier lover to “a love song”
is mailcow the kind of thing where you can host your email server yourself without paying any reoccurring fees beyond your domain name? Im new to homelabs too and I’ve been wondering how to get started with that for a while. proton would be great for me if it was free but I’m really against reoccurring payments, I don’t even have Netflix lol
I’ve never worked on an open source project before but what you’re describing are all my favorite parts of working on my personal projects so far. lol maybe if I get an actually useful project idea I’ll finally become an open source dev
I like the stickers on the 3rd kid’s tough book, that’s a nice touch
anytime! just remember as @Shimitar@feddit.it pointed out, these will be useless for tablet and mobile users, so you may still need an additional solution!
