My experience is that it’s never just one thing, either. If they’re using it for voice or imagery they’re probably using it for scripts, too. So the end result is slop on top of slop on top of slop, even if I would have been able to ignore a single element of it.
You can’t really look at the ones that didn’t hold.

LLMs are incapable of reasoning. There is not a consciousness in there deciding and telling you things. My comment was entirely about whether LLMs can reason, not whether all people reason at the same level or might decide to trick you.
The difference being that people do reason, while LLMs don’t.

Racking up that large a phone bill with dialup internet is very impressive! Today if a 7 year old spends that kind of money it’s almost certainly because someone forgot to lock the app store/roblox account.
My last phone lasted me 6 years, and would have gone longer if tariffs hadn’t made me antsy about buying a new one before it stopped working. Fingers crossed this one lasts at least that long too.
