I just downloaded, the only restaurant listed is a McDonald’s like 10 miles away… I got a lot of adding to do 😅
I wish they had some fake points and a competition
Oh… and the Arby’s that used to be in the town over is labeled “Honey baked ham”

Highly doubt it. Postal inspection isn’t trawling through random Discords. No other LE is going to get involved with randos mailing like 8 balls of meth around.
Kind of funny how this gets taken down and yet there are a plethora of discords dedicated just to almost openly selling Methamphetamine… shows you who holds real power.
And everything is done in Tails.
I don’t think WSB has enough to cash to throw around to fuck with much. The GME thing only worked because normies hopped on the band wagon.
Can I get some sauce for #2? News says nothing of it
It will take a long time for the numbers to reflect reality. Look at Twitter, it’s still chugging along and it’s gotten way shittier than reddit has in the same time frame.
All they had to do was create an app on par with 3rd party apps, rollout ads in their API, and then display less ads on their own app. Once enough people transition, you can turn the ads back to what you were planning.
If you told me reddit was just funded as a giant psychological experiment to see how much shit people will put up with to stay on social media, I might believe you.
Aren’t there subreddits where everyone who joins is a mod by default?
Don’t worry… it’s all being replaced with direct payment to approved contributors… going tiktok model, it can get way shittier, and it will.
Reddit went all in the last few days, and tipped their hand. It’s up to us if we have the balls to call, or if we fold. We have the cards, let’s use them, call their bluff and never return.
We need to show them that we care about communities not reddit or subreddits.
They have shown us that they fully intend to kill 3rd party apps. The API is an excuse and they have made that abundantly clear the last few days by announcing that they will prohibit all NSFW material and after randomly blocking some users from using mobile the other day.
They could have killed reddit by a death by a thousand vuts, but they brought out the guillotine… let’s all jump ship before reddit becomes discombobulated.
I also vaguely remember what OP was talking about. It was also factoring in how dirty the energy was being produced was at the time. So if you add electricity is projected to be dirty for x decades plus the environmental cost of the battery manufacturing. But they probably redid the calculus recently as coal plants have been shutting down way faster than initially predicted.
You don’t even need social media. Call person A and keep them on the phone for 15 seconds to get a snippet of their voice. Feed through AI, use that to call person B and extort them or whatever crime you were planning on.
That seems likely. What I don’t understand is why not just make it so no one could block Elon. He could just make up any silly excuse like “he needs to keep channels open in case of an emergency”. People would roll their eyes, shrug, groan and move on with their lives and forget all about it.
My hope is the IPO crashes and burns so hard that WSB and or Superstonk can afford to buy a majority of the company… although that could lead to some unpredictable changes… lol
People are going to get awfully suspicious when the posts stop being 90% staplers from the 60s.
Sam Bankman Fried looks and talks like half of the people I know who failed out of college, and people trusted him with billions.
