I started with Ubuntu as a beginner and I don’t recommend it any more. Canonical keeps trying to reinvent things it’s own special way without consideration for the rest of the community, like Mir (dead), Unity (dead for a while, brought back by a community volunteer), and snap packages (more downsides than upsides).
Mint Debian Edition is a good way to go. My top recommendation right now is Fedora. Fresh but stable, and widely adopted so it’s easy to get help or find answers when you have a problem.
You’re not technically wrong, but you’re comparing apples to oranges. Taxonomic etymology is far more scientifically rigorous than “white fur cat species” vs “black fur cat species”.

There is no racial distinction in biology. Our brains make up race, based on what we see and assume about people.
This should actually be pretty obvious because what counts as “white” as changed over the decades, as society changes.
Ublock origin is actually #1 on top of the list and the one I have installed, I was using “adblock” as a generic term.
As far as I can tell, chrome mobile does not support ublock origin like firefox mobile does.
It’s 3 clicks to install AdBlock on Firefox mobile and that alone instantly makes it superior to Chrome.
There are looots of reasons to feel bad for people living in Russia.
For one, having a genocidal psychopathic dictator.
For another, having only one flex: being capable of starting a nuclear holocaust that wipes out humanity.
Russia isn’t bringing anything to the world except discord, war, corruption, and death. Russia is a net negative to the human species.
Most significant difference is that Nobara updates muuch faster, so you’ll have a much more recent kernel and the freshest mesa graphics stack.
Upside is that more recent and/or AAA games will run better, downside is that you might to need to do some debugging if something breaks.
