Game Capture might be the same thing, I’d try that out

Pretty sure Vencord is what’s used now. It’s what I use at least because it’s preinstalled with Vesktop.
It’s honestly not really there for daily usage, the results aren’t very good. I think that’s just because of the small index tho. But the speed is good. It’s a really interesting project but there would have to be a lot of people running the crawler for the results to actually be good.
It’s a cool project. I always install the crawler extension on every browser I use.
Idk if GIMP has a marketing problem but I definitely agree that FOSS projects should add screenshots and a description of what the program does to their website and repo. It really annoys me when someone links a piece of software and it just doesn’t say what it does and there’s no screenshots that would make it easy for me to see what it looks like and how the UI is structured. When there’s no screenshots I’m rarely even interested in trying it out because, even with a description, I don’t really know what it is. Like, I wouldn’t be interested in a car based on only a description, I’d have to see a picture of it too.
You don’t have to add an underscore for the hyper link to work by the way
Wait, what?
Wtf I haven’t seen anything like that
On my phone I still use LibreTube but with the option to load the video directly from YouTube (essentially doing what NewPipe is doing) and on PC I just use YouTube’s directly. I still use Piped to keep my subscriptions synchronized tho.
My parents bought Xiaomi TV box (could search for the exact name if anyone’s interested), which runs GoogleTV (Which is just AndroidTV, they renamed for some reason) and comes with a remote. It even has hardware acceleration for AV1 playback. Downside is of course that it has all the Google spying shit and ads in the home menu but at least it works well and you can use all the apps you want without issue. Idk if there’s something like LineageOS for AndroidTV, that would be great.
The new Gnome file chooser is part of Gnome’s Files app and I doubt OP has that installed when they’re using KDE Plasma. Aside from that, I’m also pretty sure this is the default GTK file chooser (so the old one) from the way it looks. For context, I use Gnome.
I mean, without the end of capitalism, the end of the world is only a few decades away. Even the IPCC report says that we need socialism if we want to stop climate change (and I used “stop” instead of “prevent” for a reason, we’ve even crossed the 1.5°C limit a while ago) and survive as a species.
I already forgot about this 😭
I’d like to migrate to IPV6 but German ISPs rotate IPV6 addresses as well (for some reason) and my domain provider (Namecheap) only supports DynDNS for IPV4 😕
I use a refurbished 10tb HDD for my server too and it works just fine
Freetube just loads the videos from YouTube directly if you don’t activate the proxy option (which will use Invidious or Piped, haven’t used Freetube in a while so idk which one it was)
DNS should be working, I manually set the DNS server. I don’t really wanna install docker tho, I feel like that could cause other issues. If it only works in docker, that doesn’t really help me anyway, does it?
No, is that required?
There’s @loops@pixelfed.social, which is getting a beta release soon
Already seen some of those myself. But did people actually think that those expensive brands didn’t just buy from the same factories every other clothing company buys from?
