NGL I’d love this too
Unfortunately I have no recommendations as mine have been primarily physical journals
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my DeviantArt and Pixelfed.
Both are SFW.

I wonder if it’s a distro problem like with Fedora’s OBS issues (for those unaware Fedora wasn’t using the flathub flatpak but their own thatvwas broken)
That sounds like a super annoying bug though
Yeah my Windows system has my Lightroom install and my Fusion 360 install, part of my laziness is that I hear that you can get both to work but I haven’t bothered to shift over and make the attempt at getting them to work.
The open source alternatives for those 2 just aren’t there for me.
Funnily enough I could say the same about Windows
That thing has broken itself more times than I can count but my 2 linux machines (I still have 1 Windows machine) have been rock solid for 2 years now
The most only reason I have the last Windows machine is because I’ve been lazy about switching it lol
I’ve only had issues on days when I swap my aligners but even my friends have a hard time those days lol
10/10 highly recommended
I also dig their keyboard, I just wish it supported like searching for gifs to put directly into messenger apps.
9/10
8 years on an internal combustion engine is nothing if you preventative maintenance properly.
My newest car is 18 years old and the only thing wrong at the moment is the seals around 2 of the windows is finally leaking. All the work I’ve done is preventative maintenance and it’s got about 180k miles on it. The previous owner did the same. I put about 20k miles a year on it since I bought it.
My other car is 25 years old and it’s basically the same story except it’s passing 200k miles soon, and I’m the 4th owner. And the previous owners neglected the hell out of the poor thing. I’ve only put about 15k miles on this one.
I’m going to drive them until I can’t fix them.
I’d say that consuming content that only confirms your biases is a form of failing media literacy as you’re failing to see the biases inherent to the content you’re consuming. There’s the flaw of “I think it’s this way” seeking out that content and not seeing that it’s poorly sourced (if at all) and eating it up.
Not to mention the role that content suggestion algorithms play in reinforcing that behavior and providing you with even more content along the lines of the biases you’re reinforcing.
It’s a complicated can of worms for sure.
I’m not sure exactly what model but it’s a 4k 75in hisense running Android from like 5 years ago
Personally I just setup a PC as a NAS‡ and installed VLC on my TV so that I can just browse the NAS and play the files directly
Is it efficient? No.
Is it the best way? Also no.
Does it work? Yes, surprisingly well in fact.
‡ The first time was simply a network shared folder, the second time was using TrueNAS.
Recent events with streaming services has really been the best argument for self hosting your own content
A different driver set for each chip architecture maybe?
I’m unfamiliar with the “Rust” situation, has something gotten crusty or something?
me to Intel
Knowledge is power and the internet contains an absolutely monstrous amount of knowledge
Everybody wants to rule the world
If social media has taught me anything it’s that it was a mistake
The IT guy quits and it’s no longer their problem to fix
That’s cool to hear
I’m looking forward to seeing more than just data center GPUs hit the open source list
The name definitely needs work
Like maybe cut those executive salaries down a significant amount to start Mozilla because holy shit does Mozilla pay it’s executives a lot vs how much the company makes.
