for folks who won’t move off windows. portable apps. install it to a folder in the hard drive and when they update machines show them how you just copy it to the new machine. Only downside is it might lessen the incentive to just get off of windows. I would sorta like something like that with an emulator and an ability to run software on any architecture.

I actually stopped watching when I stopped wathing most over the air. the problem is the streaming free options being to convoluted with the gatekeeping. once I miss epsiodes im just sorta out.

thing is I don’t use photoshop. my wife does. its hard to explain her personality but im not using any convincing chips on this particular battle as we have more important things to get handled. Maybe someday.

This sounds a lot like how people would use windows paint for simple things over photoshop. Many folks just want a simplified tool. I was estatic to find out firefox now gives simple pdf editing capabilities instead of me importing it into libre office draw.

are you talking wine, virtual box, quemu and such? Im pretty sure he is looking for usage like parallels so dual booting a mac and then running it from the mac side. I mean im not sure but thinking from a parallels user perspective that is my guess at the ask.

exactly. Like an email with an attachment. Oh no thats not secure. Neither was physical mail and the docs really should not have anything all that sensitive on them. Its been long statnding practice to only show the last four digits of accounts and such. Not to mention why the heck don’t we have a guaranteed email address for life rather than relying on companies that may or may not do the service from year to year. And just maybe that service can have multiple levels of service including completely encrypted and any attempt to get it would require a court order under a full legal process and otherwise decrypting it if your not the intended reciever would be a federal offense. and maybe the entity that runs it could regulate banks N junk to have to send such stuff encrypted.
