8 months agoMostly because it’s on a separate drive and I hadn’t used btrfs before. Ext4 is ubiquitous and a lot simpler. Besides, I don’t really need the extra features of btrfs for my data volume.

Snapper has been wonderful, and saved me several times. I only keep root+home on btrfs and have a separate, larger data partition on ext4 where larger data and nonessential programs end up living.
Yeah he was much better a while back. Though that can be said for most of youtube. The algo messes up everything

Iirc there was some danish bank IT guy who stole every unit of currency smaller than 10^-4 in his banks transactions. Pretty neat until he got caught
2·1 year agoYeah, I’m currently using an old version (2018!) Of AutoDesk sketchbook, since it seems like every other option tries to force me into a subscription or cloud service. I just want to take notes!

Krita is nice overall, but I have some minor gripes with certain tools behaving unintuitively. May just be because I’m used to GIMP, but some simple stuff such as cropping a layer is not at all convenient.
