3·11 months agoYeah I have a G6 and a few G8 at home, they are nice machines, even though newer generation feel way cheaper with more plastic…
And yeah I see how it could be confusing I’ll change that ahah!

2·11 months agoI mean it would work, but depends on the load, it can definitely host some website, be used as a backup server or something. I installed a modern version of proxmox and even plain debian on it, so it would definitely work. But performance would be poor for heavy task like a game server.
As for the consistency itself, the server would run 24/7 without an issue, and it’s still built like a tank and it has been made to be resilient!

4·1 year agoSeems nice, but you need an external Player to watch the content, which can be goof for some people, but I like the webUI of TubeArchivist (even though it can be enhanced for sure)

6·1 year agoI archive youtube videos that I like with TubeArchivist, I have a playlist for random videos i’d like to keep, and also subscribe to some of my favourite creator so I can keeptheir videos, even when I’m offline
