I really wanted to like Mastodon (never used Twitter) but my main issue with it are;
- Blocking NSFW does not work properly.
- Continuously see different languages.
- Uncertain how it works (not sure who to follow or which communities/ topics).

Zuckerberg made this clear: The AI-generated content will continue until morale improves
Says the guy with no real morals and also means; it will never really improve.
Honestly, just avoid Reddit like the plague. If you really still want to see stuff from there, use an RSS feed (only for the subreddits you want to see).
To be blunt Reddit is full of garbage, especially since the take downs of 3rd-party-apps and the IPO.
Most of the things you’ll see on there are:
I’m in Europe and have gotten this message too through Reddit.
Their app has always been utterly garbage, it’s why I went over to Apollo in the first place.
The content has been dry ever since people switches to other platforms. I think the only subreddits being decent are the niche and the very specific ones.
The more I read about Reddit underlying issues, the more happier I get for leaving.
I mean, I might be wrong but it looks like its getting run by dictatorship kind of behavior.
Currently the content on Reddit is pretty dry apart from the niche subreddits I’m in. But the majority of subreddits are pretty much reposts of old stuff.
It truly sucks but what did people expect? A polite message?
After how Reddit handled the API changes, the whole thing with Christian (Apollo developer), don’t expect anything politely, good or nice from Reddit CEO.
However, I’m curious as to why Reddit is doing this, though I know they were planning to change the chat system (something to do with ‘legacy chat’).
I’m curious if they’re really losing money because of what’s happening right now.
Though if they do, well damn deserved.
Is there a workaround for the people who are in the US when and if this happens?
I can imagine sideloading(?) but how about the less tech-savvy people?
