I’m gonna be honest I just used Turtle ad an example:X … when it’s actually like a GoldCost, GoldC and GoldH. Where GoldR is a reset var and GoldC is the paid value. GoldCost is self explanatory but I really spagettied it up XD…
I’ll check it out! I’m very casual and doing thus mostly as a passion/Fun project. But I love any direction thank you:)

My best advice, have a copy of the project you work on. Then if it all works save it over the master copy. It’s easy to break stuff.
This was me today, I’m making a JRPG in GoDot. I made my pause menu today and I tried running it. It took me to my battle scene… I then kept trying different things with no luck. I then tried running the game… My battle scene popped up! I was so confused, googled it with no solution. Them I started trouble shooting, deleting things til it worked… After that I got autoloader errors, so I removed it from the autoloader… Somehow that fixed it… I dont know how but cool.

As a hobbyist, daughter goes to bed I start reading and experimenting.
Its ok to touch up code. If you have lots of notes, on what its supposed to do… I learned this the hardway.

It’s in the vein of dragon. Warrior monster, simple combat but the fun is more seeing all the monsters and exploring. I posted some art assets ill share in a moment. Please keep in mind this is a fun hobby thing.
I’m creating an RPG in GoDot using asprite for resources. I’m about 6 months in and I find it so relaxing making assets and plunking them in. Whatever you do it should be for you is the golden rule. To often people want to inject themselves in or offer input thats sneakily what they want. It should be what your vision is, your pace and you shouldn’t answer to anyone.
I did so by Nielson ratings logic about 2400 of us?
