  • You can self host anything like this, all you need is buying a domain and set something up like DynDNS which updates the entry of the domain with your new IPv4 as soon as it changes.

I would recommend to not open your services to public, but set up a wireguard (or other VPN) endpoint in your home, which you then use to access all your services.

I think, an alternative to that would be some servicees from tailscale or cloudflare, I suppose

They should just have put a stronger SoC in there, as well as a way bigger battery.

We need raw power so that the DEs can be run smoothly to attract more people who are able to work on efficiency, which makes it possible to reduce battery size again, after.

A Linux phone needs to be able to run games and not die so fast, like all the linux based handheld consoles. 🤔 maybe one of those PCBs can be used for strong phone by adding a modem 🤗

I see, my app that I use for keepass has integrated webDAV sync where I can point it to a keepass file on the webDAV server (strongbox iOS) I just thought android keepass apps should have such feature as well.

The iOS app of NC is slow as well, and not good enough for using to sync keepass files, but the Linux app seems to be good enough.

And yea, just learned, that sync thing apparently works without a server but all P2P? That is 100% killer feature 😃👌🏻

I don’t like copyright like it is today and happy that we are now rethinking it. Hopefully we get a better system out of it. Just sad that capitalism and AI are killing independent news/media, so it’s gonna be hard to get it into a state that is fair for all, not just the wealthy 🤔

I learned C++, python, how stuff in the Linux kernel works, how ansible works and can be tuned, and a lot more using the help of AI (mostly copilot, but when it fails to help, I use my free prompts of OpenAI 4.o, which is way better than copilot, right now)

Not tested o1 yet, but I heard it is mind blowing good, since it got way better with logic stuff like programming and Mathematic
