I was responding to the statement that the unions were being sensational. They were accurately stating the facts.

It’s been a while since I looked into usps, and I’m sure someone will know more, but I know there is a difference in either the union or simply the union contract for rural workers, warehouse workers and the rest of their workforce. But if all of these issues are accurate for rural workers then they should push to replace their union leadership or change unions. Dropping union membership all together almost always impacts workers negatively in the long run.

Your statement is incorrect and I’m guessing it’s because you’re pushing antiunion nonsense. The reason they need the signatures by May is because that’s when the new contract goes into effect. If they drop the union before the contract, then they’d have to renegotiate their contract, lose their union stewards and representatives and… you know what, exactly the part you put in quotes.

Back in high school I had some friends tour an NFL stadium. They got to see the field and locker rooms and all. I didn’t get to go with them, so while they were in the locker rooms they stole a bunch of these powdered electrolyte drinks they had out for the players and brought some back for me. I remeber trying them and they tasted like straight sweat. It makes sense, but they were gross. Same flavor as licking someone’s forehead.
