This is such a stupid idea, it could have only come from Larry Ellison. I guess you would need everything tied together so that you can watch every person all the time in every place.

I understand this, but I didn’t know how one would count up to 36 the first time around. PhlubbaDubba is using joints in their fingers to get additional objects to increment on. If we only used our fingers, we could only get to 10
How do you count in base36 on your hands? I seem to only have 10 (decimal notation) fingers
It’s been a long time since I actually used subnets, but IIRC you will need a physical interface for each network on the router regardless.
So let’s say you set up your /24 network into 2x /25’s, you will need an interface for the .0 network, and another for the .128 network
If you just have an interface for the switch, and another for the WAN connection, I don’t think subnetting will work for what you’re trying to do
