DO lowest tier i’m on is 20gb, but hetzner is slightly cheaper with more ram and 40gb.

Attempting to get my lemmy instance going properly. Got it running on digital ocean but they don’t allow outgoing email and reccomend a third party service. I decided to try out Hetzner and am getting errors saying that docker compose isn’t installed when running the ansible script.

proxmox is pretty intuitive to use. You just have to make a lot of decisions to start with in regards to storage. I always go with one main drive with a partician for ZFS cache and at least two drives in the array for VMs that way if a drive fails everything is still good. Things get a little annoying if you’re trying to pass through hardware.

I get discouraged from checking there because of their prices and lack of decent items. Rarely I find something halfway decent.

Just looking at their website makes me not want to use it because it doesn’t give any details as to what it actually is.

If I was a in charge of a business I would put a hard email filter (including externally) on corporate jargon because it is too vague and people just use it to seem smarter than they really are. The no-reply would give a lengthy explanation on why it’s bad practice.

I meant knowledge wise. Many people in technical industries lack the ability to diagnose issues because they don’t have a true understanding of what they actually do. They follow diagnostic trees or subscribe to what I call “the rain dance” method where they know something fixes a problem but they didn’t really know why. If you mention anything outside of their small reality they will refuse to acknowledge it’s existence.

Any news on the “pro” line? They were installed on business PCs and had additional security features built in. For instance there is a 3600 pro model.
