I would be really worried that they’ll get me somehow over this and fuck me up legally.

Dunno about Russian book but the same story is in Tale of Two Cities
‘You know, Doctor, that it is among the Rights of these Nobles to harness us common dogs to carts, and drive us. They so harnessed him and drove him. You know that it is among their Rights to keep us in their grounds all night, quieting the frogs, in order that their noble sleep may not be disturbed. They kept him out in the unwholesome mists at night, and ordered him back into his harness in the day.
Good book would recommend.
Hah, I’m just gaming on a laptop but one that’s connected to my TV
“Sir please restart your computer and do sfc /scannow please”
“I already said that I’ve restarted the computer and I’m not using Windows.”
“Okay sir please open Windows Update”
“???”
Weird that shit like this would even come up
You ever notice how everything installs and uninstalls super cleanly and easily these days and software gets consistent regular updates?
Not really. Well maybe I take it for granted having switched to Linux.
I mostly hate Electron for the dumb RAM usage.
And then you make everyone pay
Just makes the command prompt climb into a hole
I wouldn’t put my 2FA in password storage. Just in case
My main worry is if they’re intersections everywhere
Flatpak is really nice imo. You can have stable distro with up-to-date apps. And sandboxing for proprietary stuff, which is really nice.
I bet, both ironically and genuinely, depending on the cade. Flatpak must feel like a godsend to a lot of people haha
Packagers job to make it fit their distro, innit?
It’s also much weirder sounding. You know what sort of partner they mean from context (same as you know if someone means girlfriend girlfriend or a friend that is a girl)
I think in some cases you could get fucked if it can be shown that it’s an obvious mistake
