Hurting women is ok for them, too.
Hurting women is ok for them, too.
It in Elon’s case, catches fire and locks you in
Only the programmers that have to run queries in it because that’s their job. 😭
I found it. Thanks.
There’s a lot of links and anger over “imma” and “we be”!
I think everyone might need to “chill” but that would have similar problems.
Ok, they asked him to stop saying “we be” and “imma”.
I thought these phrases were ingrained in Internet culture and were no longer just a “black” culture thing.
What phrase or word did he say that offended them and provoked then to tell him to stop?
I’m an old white dude that cares about my African American friends, and tries to use my Caucasian skin powers for good. However some words work their way into general American culture from its subgroups. I think if people use lingo respectfully then there’s little harm. However there are some taboo words and pejoratives that should not be used.
Is AAVE = “African American Vernacular English”? That’s the only thing I can think that it would be.
Yes but can you run Doom on a dead badger
Hey, about out to an interactive fiction dude/dudette!
I programmed in TADS many years ago, but I want to learn and use inform, because I want a Z-code game like my timeless heroes at Infocom.
We’ll to be fair, in Windows you also get occasional “update broke everything” issues, too. So, it’s the best of both worlds, I guess. 🤷
Sad to hear this news.
Yeah, I do not think Python is a very good comparison.
I was thinking more like Clojure:
Honestly, I think both are right. Both are simple languages that expand your way of thinking, and are probably both worth learning, if you’re into that sort of thing.
About Esperanto, since it’s not a national language (intentionally so) it’s hard to do a census of speakers.
Also, to what level is considered “speaking Esperanto”? Taking the Duolingo course? Having it as a “mother tongue” where both parents speak it in a household in order to communicate? These are both probably countable, and produce wildly different numbers.
Mi pensas ke, vi volis tajpi, “Python (aŭ Pitono) malfeliĉigas min.”
“Mi malfeliĉas.” : I’m sad.
“Pitono malfeliĉigas ĉiujn.” (Python makes everyone sad.)
Ackshully, Clojure is Esperanto, and I will not be taking questions at this time.
First off, holy crap, thank you for sharing this site. I had no idea about it! I will definitely check it out.
Second, this seems like something I would pay for, to get more space. Is that available? I could not find that on their website.
The Windows error screen is almost never useful. Maybe Linux could aspire to that standard!
You are not even answering the questions that you are being asked!
How much can I pay for this service, and can you make it a subscription?
Maybe web rings are due for a comeback.
Totally off topic, but this is the first I’ve noticed Forge Jo. I’ve spoken Esperanto for years, and instantly see this as the Esperanto word for forge “forĝejo”.
The hat on the G makes it a soft G. And the J is pronounced like the Y sound in fjord.
