Ja die großen Knöpfe sind auf jeden Fall einer der größten Pluspunkte. Die japanische Tastatur bei thumbkey ist weniger systematisch - allgemein soll wohl die Häufigkeit der Zeichen da formgebend sein. Sieht dann auch dementsprechend ungewohnt aus:

Oh, aber leider keine Kanji an der Stelle. Eine Tastatur für Hiragana, eine für Katakana - aber mehr nicht. Also nicht wirklich für Japanisch benutzbar.

Bisher ist mir nie aufgefallen, dass mein Daumen mehr belastet wäre als sonst, oder dass ich wegen Problemen im Daumen weniger schreibe. Scheint also ok zu funktionieren so.

Natürlich je nach Schreibmenge, aber ca 1 Woche bis du dir gemerkt hast wo die Buchstaben sind, dass du nicht jeden Buchstaben erstmal 2sek suchen musst. Und dann gut ein Monat oder zwei bis du die Sicherheit hast nicht mehr auf die Tastatur zu schauen.

Es gibt verschiedene Layouts - auch 5-spaltige die für zwei Finger gedacht sind.

Ich habe normale Tastaturen aufgegeben und bin seit ein paar Monaten mit Thumbkey unterwegs. Nach etwas Eingewöhnung finde ich es gut und kann flott schreiben. Vor allem auch “blind”, also dass ich beim Schreiben auf den Text gucke und nicht auf die Tastatur.

Ich hoffe es klang nicht gemein oder aggressiv, beim lesen der Fragen hatte ich gleich eine bestimmte Art Mensch vor Augen, aber dafür kannst du ja nichts.

Ach da fällt mir ein, besonders bzgl. Punkt 3: womöglich liegt hier auch ein Durcheinanderwerfen von “Geschlechteridentität” und “Sexualität” vor. Beide Felder entwickeln sich parallel, sind aber verschieden. Wie eine Person sich selbst innerhalb der Geschlechterrollen wahrnimmt und was sie sexuell ansprechend findet ist unabhängig voneinander. Aber die klassischen Begriffe der Sexualität kommen schnell an ihre Grenzen wenn man sich Situationen malt wie “ich bin männlich geboren, empfinde mich aber als Frau und lebe auch so. Ich habe mich verliebt in einen Mann, bin ich nun schwul? Ist er schwul?”

Ähnlich verwandt-verschieden sind auch Umwelt- und Klimaschutz, falls ihr anderen Stoff für erhitzte Diskussionen sucht.

Hier kurz meine Gedanken zu deinen Beispielfragen:

1. Es wird nicht “gepusht”. Was soll das überhaupt heißen? Die einzigen die sich ständig wegen “Gendern” einscheißen sind Konservative die von den “größeren Problemen” ablenken wollen.
2. Es steuert niemand zentral womit “angefangen” wird. Es ist jedoch wichtig, zuerst ein mal zu wissen, um welche “Menschen außerhalb des klassischen Spektrums” es eigentlich geht. Daher ist die Begriffsfindung ein prominentes Feld.
3. Das Themenfeld ist sehr neu und jung. Von “neuen Geschlechteridentitäten jede Woche” weiß ich nichts, frage vllt mal dort nach, wo du diese Idee her hast.
4. Wie 3: das Thema ist neu. Es gibt keine Authorität die einen Standard festlegt - wozu auch?
5. Verstehe ich nicht, klingt aber nach ziemlichem Unsinn. Kinder sind verwirrt und haben kein Fundament für Persönlichkeit wenn sie irgendwo hören, dass Menschen sich in ihrem Körper nicht wohlfühlen?

Ich habe den Eindruck, dass sich besonders beim Thema “Gendern” Menschen aufregen die von dem Thema überhaupt nicht berührt werden. Würden sie das Thema komplett ignorieren, änderte sich nichts in ihrem Leben. Aber aus irgendwelchen Gründen fühlen sich Menschen davon bedroht - oder sogar “genervt”?
