What you gonna repair it for? It’s not like it’s gonna work
It’s unusual to see more than 3 weeks where I’ve worked too but it’s more so because of people’s travel habits and not wanting to be out of vacation days the rest of the year
I’d get shock and a comment but yeah it could go through
Places I’ve been to follow the 2-1 rule, try to ask two days in advance for 1 day off
You get 5 weeks usually
I wish implicit returns could be turned into an error in the configs of a project. It was impopular at the time and probably still is outside of Rust, it permeated through every control structure because of how the language is designed, but the worst part is how unnecessary it was
It would’ve cost nothing not to do it
It would’ve made no one upset
Now Rust is the only language to do what it does - and it has this shit in it
“The snippersnappers should focus on making the fax machine faster”, Biden reportedly said
This is not a good article
To know if an email is a scam I would check the domain of the link it’s sending, which this doesn’t provide
Also you shouldn’t trust the sender address of an email, you can spoof that
I asked for my data to run shreddit on everything several months back and they never got back to me (I’m ip banned). I think I’ll send an email to their legal contact
What the “no such thing as a free lunch” mentality does to a mf
Why are people directing you to the samsung galaxy s series and the other top shelf brands when you literally said you don’t play games or didn’t list extremely good cameras as a requirement? You don’t need the premium series S.
Just go for the samsung mid brands, galaxy Ax4 series
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_A_series
They’re half the price of an S and I keep them just as long as I kept my S, phones still evolve quickly, you’re better off getting mid ranges, phones hardly ever feel snappy anymore after 4 years of tech progress anyway, picking the mid ranges will hardly get you a year less and it’s gonna save you heaps
php, famous for not letting you write anything that errors out
Introducing bugs into code way more often than others with similarly skilled programmers is one good reason to hate it…
level 1: “this argument is worthless because you are stupid!”
level 300: “everyone who hates php is just an idiot tbh”
Just standard discourse from the php community
Suspicious of this
With all the shit we have in orbit you’re telling me SpaceX’s shit specifically is more of a problem?
Thunder but features aren’t all there
This is a cool article and all but there is no reason, to me, to believe in a mechanism that would make those new mods somehow worse on average than the old mods. Mods order was just seniority mixed with interpersonal drama with whoever was there before them, up to the guy who happened to be there in 2009.
Moderation was a sad fiefdom that was never good, these few in the article maybe just happened to have been good ones
