Did you go in the Omnivore plugin settings to point it to a folder? I just created a folder called “Omnivore” and it drops all into that folder.

Oh Omnivore for sure!!! It’s a reader app so you send it there. Read, highlight and it sends the highlights to Obsidian. It can also handle newsletters and RSS feeds. Did I mention it’s free?
Just got their email. That was it for me. I had kept my account to make sure they aren’t bringing back my deleted posts. Time to get rid of the account and tell them they suck.
France isn’t exactly timely here. It’s on the market for 3 years?! Now they ban it?
Not sure about collaborative but if you like Notion’s database try the Obsidian plug-in called “DB folder”.
Mine were fairly recent and needed to be deleted several times to stay deleted. Seemed really random.
Keep your account for a while after deleting
Mine are staying delete now after initially a few popping back up. What’s more concerning is that I requested my data a few weeks after I deleted my content. I was fully expecting to get empty files but nope ALL of my content. Dating back 10 years is still there! It’s not on my Reddit profile but they clearly kept it somewhere and can recall it whenever they want to. They do not delete the data.
Ah it’s a tight race with the Twitter blue check mark
Yes. “projects” by Marcus Olsson
Might want to give projects a spin.
What??? I love both! The iPad and iPhone app! Super fast, works like a charm and I am always surprised how many feature I can use even on the tiny phone screen! I just installed the projects plug in and was fully prepared to accept it not working on iOS but here we are 🥳 it works like a charm and is super easy to use. I am in love with Obsidian and I use it 95% of the time on iPhone.
I’ll have to reconsider what I want. I thought the Mac mini would be just a good use for it and I already have it.
Thanks. Sounds manageable but now I hear that my mini might not be as simple … oh well I guess I’ll have to look for some hardware.
Ugh. I guess I abandon that project.
It’s a 2011ish mac mini (2.3 ghz dual core intel core i5)?! I have seen several tutorials but I really need something easy to follow. I haven’t seen one that makes sense to me yet.
Not OP but I love FromSergio on YT. He is amazing at explaining.
I am all Apple so I use iCloud. Works like a charm. No issues at all
I don’t know readwise but omnivore is free so try it! I looooove it!
You might want to connect with them on Mastodon. I found them super helpful with a couple of questions I had.
