Hyprland is not very stable and is constantly requiring updates.
That’s why for now it is only distributed in unstable repo, I guess.
Anyway, I’ll stick to the plain and simple Sway.

Something to consider but not for anyone: if youre thinking of using latex, why don’t just learn how to use raw latex packages. Download the packages and use your own editor and PDF viewer. It you’re using Linux, maybe something like [(neo)vim+vimtex]+zathura. Anyway you can still use LyX to easily create math formula by copy pasting. And for backup, you can use github (plus Dropbox) etc.

During the initial and development stages, the top tech workers were headhunted and paid a lot to set up good infrastructure. Now that the infrastructure is already there, when there’s not much new development being done, they ended up being considered overpaid with respect to the works being done. These companies will end up getting rid of this ‘overpaid’ workers and replace them with migrant workers that they can get for a lot less.
yep. Banana pi also use Windows-only Flashing Software. but that depends on the chip used, if I am not mistaken.
I’d recommend Orange Pi 5 plus. It’s much more expandable than OP 5.
Don’t even have to cd when using completion with fish/zsh. Just type

Much the popular posts in lemmy are memes, shitpostings, or politics/technology news which we can easily obtain from other media. The way I see it, lemmy lacks experts, scientists, doctors etc that that can bring interest and credibility to the posts or threads. They can help generate quality contents, what lemmy lacks till now.
The problem is not the server. One of the reasons is because lemmy world is being DDoS attacked by certain party with grudges. Because lemmy is not used to this kind of attack, which is made difficult by way it is designed and open source nature where the attacker can easily uncover vulnerabilities, it took some times and learning to mitigate them. You can open new account in other instances or move if that’s too much inconvenience for you. No one is stopping you.
I integrate it with rundeck. Took a bit to learn, but it worth it for me.
what do you even mean? Drew is the creator of wlroots and Sway. He literally jump-starts the adoption of Wayland in linux.
