Open Library is one of the main data sources for Bookwyrm’s book data. Bookwyrm is an application in Fediverse that can be used to find and write reviews of books. I wouldn’t see that as a contradiction.

Cryptpad Forms or Framaforms are good for simple surveys. For more complex surveys there is Limesurvey.

In my experience, I can’t see any difference in speed between different launchers. But just try it out, install a few and then delete the ones you don’t like.

The interface design is based on how iOS works, for example to move an icon on your phone long press one of the icons and wait till they all go wiggling and then drag the icon to where you want to have it.

von Lemmy aus kann man m.W. nur Gruppen-Accounts folgen, also Lemmy-Communitys, aber auch kbin-Magazines, Friendica-Foren, a.gup.pe-Gruppen und auch Peertube-Kanäle gehören dazu.

mit einem Lemmy-Account kann man m.W. keinem User-Account folgen. Aber mit anderen Fediverse-Accounts kann man nicht nur Communitys, sondern auch Lemmy-User-Accounts folgen und sich bei Bedarf auch benachrichtigen lassen, wenn die etwas posten. z.B. von Mastodon, Friendica etc. aus
