Why are the ARR a bad idea for a VPS?

Yeah storage suck on mine but you can get a seed box for storage and run the apps in the VPS. But that’s another subscription.

I have one that is pretty basic but works very well for about $4US a month. Mine runs Ubuntu 22.

Every single person I know or meet uses WhatsApp. About 90% of the businesses I interact with use WhatsApp Businesses. My whole family uses WhatsApp.

Moving to another system is going to take a lot a lot of work.

Here folks and interactions are better. Content is quite lacking. I have a few niche interests that are nowhere to be seen around here. I have not gone back to Reddit and I think my life overall is better for it. My 2 cents.

I have a water container I need to take care of in my house. An ultrasonic sensor hooked to my raspberry 3b uploads the collected data to my vps that later serves an html through Flask to show the water level. It has a few alarms so that I can take action at the appropriate time. The ultrasonic sensors HC-SR04 suck and I have to replace them quite frequently. Other then that it works really well.

Relay is the app I use. It’s is beyond awesome. I so wish for Relay for Lemmy. I would gladly pay again.

I will never pay for an app for Reddit. They showed their true colors and they were ugly colors. Like shit brown.

It’s not just me then… I consider myself tech savvy and I have such a hard time finding the message that notified me. Getting back to an old message is just impossible for me.

Well… Maybe I am getting old.

I stopped reddit usage altogether. Like you. A statement to myself really. But a righteous one because I am standing with the good guys here. And I feel good about myself.
