Also the “we’re setting things up for you” or whatever user-dumb-hide-details crap the Teams PWA throws on your screen while launching is just… As if there was a live team of engineers carefully configuring your current Teams instance so that it starts up right. (A bit off-topic, but current trend of software “speaking to users in patronising manner” is annoying af. Unless it’s up to or exceeding HAL-3000 level, it should be abolished.)

Speaking of which, how on Earth it’s such a slug these days? I pretty much quit Reddit when the protest started and moved to Lemmy. I never used any other Android app since I was reasonably happy with the official app. However, when I launched it to check how my old subs fared, I was quite surprised at how slow, laggy and bloated POS it had come.

No (although you can easily create such a key mapping if so inclined). To type b character one must first enter the so called Insert mode. Depending on where exactly you wish to type the character, you can enter the Insert mode by typing for example i, a, I, A, o or O.

In a sane editor just press b.
