You have to consider that most musical acts are NOT solo acts. Split that $5k a month between a band of several people and it’s not livable anymore. I think you have to be up in the several million listens range to have it be “livable.” That also assumes you maintain that level of interest indefinitely.

Looks like a bitch to clean. Gonna get all sorts of grease collecting in those grooves…

Joke’s on you, I vibe coded my tests too! Now my development is driven by errors in my tests!

I’ll make you feel better: here’s a server of mine that lives in a hot garage. Sorry for the freedom units but it peaks at about 55C.

Man it’d be great to go back to that time; writing my thoughts down on eight different books using an ink pot and a magnificent quill, no technology to distract me, scratching my buboes as I cycle between the books by candlelight. Fantastic.
Now we’re gonna blame any shitty bug on vibe coding, even if it was just a crappy engineer

For me it’s a trade-off: yes Plex is less good than Jellyfin from a data/cost perspective. But so far the UI of Plex (which is not perfect mind you), availability of Plexamp (which honestly is very very good), and the fact that I don’t have to pay for it anymore after buying lifetime swings the scale towards Plex for me.
If Plex somehow canceled my lifetime or forced ads on my shows or something, that would be a line — but making me opt out of selling my data is not that line for me.
And he was “good at it” because he could afford the hardware/menial labor to train the initial AI models.
A nice thing about vibe coding is it can do it in the background while I do other things. I’m not staring at it generating code for 3 hours.

Man I really don’t get this viewpoint at all…

Enchanted tracking protection
How else am I supposed to evade witches and warlocks?

That’s why LLMs are so infuriatingly stubborn, they’re trained on these keyboard warriors
Just didn’t have “machine learning” on top

I stick data I will almost certainly never access again on glacier deep archive. Dirt cheap. Good place to escrow data.
No gross backwash with UDP, guaranteed!

I wish foobar2000 was open source too. Maybe this will encourage the creator to do so.
Even AI thinks copilot is shit
