AI is a pop culture term that has been in use long before practical machine learning or large language models. It already has a known definition which resembles artificial general intelligence or AGI. It is being applied to ML and LLMs for marketing purposes.

Conflating two concepts can be funny (e.g. puns) but this isn’t that. “Dereferencing a movie ” has no meaning outside of manual memory management.
I understand humour is subjective but some jokes aren’t as strong as others (and some jokes aren’t jokes at all).
I personally don’t find it funny because these types of jokes essentially boil down to “I used a concept outside of its context, and for that reason alone it is funny”. However, with a lot of these jokes the context is so narrow (i.e. programming) that they are almost universally not understood by wider audiences.

I don’t currently use macOS, but macOS support is typically about 7 years, sometimes up to 10. Apple supports the 3 latest versions of its operating system.
Mainstream Windows support seems to be about 1-3 years.

A similar feature already exists on iOS, when having a conversation over iMessage you can optionally share your name/profile picture. The reason this hasn’t been abused with spam or porn is because it’s tied to your identity and Apple ID. I would imagine it will be the same for this new feature.
