Hello, I’m terribly introverted but trying my best to be social. Feel free to help me out!

I’m glad to see apps being made for Lemmy, but being open source for me is a must.
Thanks!
I’m going to try that one out and see how I like it. Btw your avatar is very cute!
I don’t have any particular needs for a launcher, but I just like having options for things, etc.
Honestly, looking through a few I’ve seen so far… they just aren’t terribly appealing. I’ll probably be in the same boat as you.
UGH that is awful.
Thanks for posting that. Goodbye Nova.
Are there any launchers that are recommended?
I second f-droid. It’s really good!
I’m using NewPipe for a YouTube replacement, but I hear good things about ReVanced!
Thanks for clarifying!
Thank you!
It looks like FreeTube actually has the option to route through invidious for all of those benefits. That’s really cool!
Thanks!
I had no idea there was a new fork(?) of Vanced. I was actually using Vanced previously, and really enjoyed that. Does it still require you to have a Google / YouTube account to login, or can it pull a NewPipe / FreeTube with profiles?
Thanks for the recommendation.
I’m using Linux right now, and glad to see they have it on Flathub. I think I’ll give that a try now! EDIT: I really like it, actually!
This.
The ads and content are delivered via the same way, so blocking one blocks the others.
Oh gosh, that’s unfortunate.
Good thing I’ve been using NewPipe! I’m reading the post for other alternatives, but feel free to suggest some to me directly, if you’d like.
I’ve been using Linux Mint and found it to be great. Not a single issue so far, whereas I was having quite a few with PopOS, which was my daily for about two years prior.
Haven’t had to do any special tinkering at all. Currently hopping between Cyberpunk, Baldur’s Gate 3, and BattleBit without any problems.
It’s Ubuntu-based (which is based off Debian?) BUT Ubuntu it is not. Now I’m confused. 😁
