I had my first GitHub repo when I was a kid. I did not know how to use git. I was manually uploading all of the files via the web interface.

Oh, PWA. Yeah, I used that for a bit, but the experience wasn’t great.
I’m not sure I understand.
Man, I had no idea Tumblr was on the Gravy list. Great app!
Nope! I can use the machine while it does this stuff, and I run updates overnight.
I do also have Flatpak, for when I need software ASAP (as well as when it isn’t in the repos).
Noice. I’ll have to try it!
We need to invent a cocktail called a screenshot. There’s already one called a snapshot (sambuca and Kahlúa), but I think it should be a completely different drink.
Yeah, openSUSE rebranded their flavours recently. Their main logo is still Geeko, though.
If you’ve seen my previous openSUSE screenshots, though, I used to run neofetch with the --ascii_distro suse
argument, as the old Tumbleweed logo was too wide and used to push most of the info off the screen. Since the rebrand, I haven’t had that problem.
It’s funny you should ask, as I just put my dotfiles on git today! Here’s a link: https://git.sr.ht/~hellfire103/amethyst-ii-dotfiles
Not sure. Maybe they’re going to replace the nasty proprietary bits with tools and libraries from Linux and BSD?
Great idea, but unfortunately technicalities won’t get me marks.
Oh, I haven’t handed it in yet. We were supposed to write our own methods.
I see… Welp, guess I’ll go back to what I was using before!
Is this good news or bad news?
Interesting. I like it!
Sway is good. It’s really just i3 on Wayland. I’ve never used Hyprland myself, though.
Yep! Just put the following in your foot.ini
:
[colors]
alpha=0.8 # or whatever value between 0 and 1 you want
Here are my dots:
I can assure you this is just regular Sway. Thanks, though!
That’s a relief.
