I would have bought it if they said ifnot instead, it’s the same number of characters and wouldn’t require a major parser overhaul to support keywords with a ’ in the name.
Might be able to call assembly untyped. Everything beyond that I think would be called either statically or dynamically typed, maybe weakly typed?
Yeah, it’s just rude. I have never, and it’s a serious condition.
Happy Yesterday++ Day!
Yeah, it’s true
. I knew all the other ones, had to put that one in the dev tools console to believe it. I was just happy to know === continues to be sane in that comparison.
Florida man is dead!?
? I’m quite positive I’ve used MIDI in Firefox on hooktheory.
Roblox Studio. I hate it’s predatory economy but my 7 yo has been building some random worlds and he and his friends have a blast just running around in them for hours. The fact it’s so easy to share and play with friends is really a big motivator. It doesn’t cost anything.
I was, and still am, fine with my own thoughts. I intentionally go places without my phone that I know I’ll be standing around waiting. Bus stop to pick up my kid, restaurant to grab lunch, quick trip to the store. It’s nice not having the option to distract myself with it and the feeling of being entirely disconnected knowing if “something terrible happened” I wouldn’t be able to reach anyone instantly is a lot more calming than it sounds.
Might be fun to check out how bad Chromium browser users are going to have it without having to install any of that garbage. But, on second thought, I’m never going to risk exposing my machine to the tracking and malware. uBO Heavy forever!
That saga was the reason I started using my librem.one Mastodon account that I created years before. I hadn’t been on Twitter in almost a decade and I wasn’t really much interested in an alternative so I didn’t really use Mastodon, until that day. Really glad it happened.
Except where the word “cisgender” is used, then he brings in the last employee that knows how to work the only machine left in the office with a working version of the software for modding content, while him, Ronnie, and other top members of the Reich look over his shoulder.
I did quite a few bad things like that early on. Now I never type UPDATE or DELETE without first doing a SELECT and WHERE. It’s easy to convert to a DELETE and UPDATEs tend to effect only a few fields at a time so the extra effort is worth the peace of mind. It’s a good habit to form, I can’t even think of the last time I did anything horrible.
I suspect they will at some point. I used their RSS feeds for years but, whatever they choose to do now, it won’t effect me anymore.
Betteridge’s Law of Headlines: an adage that states: “Any headline that ends in a question mark will have a comment mentioning Betteridge’s Law of Headlines.”
And YouTube channels. So much better than trying to keep track through any of the interfaces YouTube provides.
