hi, i’m june! i’m a 30 year old femme enby lesbian who makes art, and i’m here to be a big heckin’ nerd~

Tbh this is the idea that when first introduced to me, i thought NFTs were for. Then i found out they were… Not that, lol
It’s a galaxy S20 FE, but the SM-G781W specifically
Last i checked on xda dev forums it was an exception to the bootloader unlocks
Yeah, I didn’t look into it beforehand because i was naive and my previous devices were unlocked so i assumed this would be the same. And it’s even more frustrating because while this phone in other regions is unlocked, specifically my canadian model is locked. I won’t be getting another phone any time soon, but yeah, ill be more careful in the future. Just sucks that manufacturers still do this sporadically
Eh, not all android devices, unfortunately. Mine does not have the ability to unlock the bootloader. ;c
Sorry Gil, it’s still chromium ;c
Read the article, seems like they just mean measuring how much it heats up under load ;p they aren’t otherwise actively heating it
i mean further down on that page shows other apps, one of which is pixeldroid, which seems like the other one you mention? it also lists fedilab, which i have (but don’t really use lol)
while the size does seem large, perhaps they just haven’t gone through the process of getting on the stores just yet? could be new and in progress?
yeah, this feels like a big heckin deal??
hopefully we can get this elsewhere, too
which feels like it might be easier if companies are already complying with this
This would be easier if more hardware was easier to put custom OSs on. For example, my phone is dumb and doesn’t have an unlockable bootloader, so i’m stuck with android forever on it. For devices you can actually work on, lineage and graphene are cool projects that i’d love to see embrace the sort of holistic experience you’re talking about~
unfortunate to see, it’s been a great app for a long time. Anyone know of an alternative that’s good? I mostly just read on mobile through firefox on mangafire now, but would love if an app offered a better experience
