screen sharing in element is very good. just use element call under video call
now it only misses the ability to pin a selected area on the screen, like in flameshot.
you using a laptop? maybe it used the iGPU, I’ve heard of that being a problem. on my rig, mint actually has a few fps more than on nobara for example. and some old games won’t launch in kubuntu. the distro definitely does matter, one just has to find the right one.
nah, bluetooth and wifi both use electromagnetic radiation. I didn’t read the article and I understand nothing about quantum mechanics, but I don’t think they use photons in this. someone correct me if I’m wrong.
i thought we were talking about random tabs that have been open for a long time. ofc i wouldn’t close ones that i’m working with.
i save everything i think i may find useful later. i have categorized them into a few folders. but still not hundreds.
why not just bookmark that stuff and close the tabs?
how long has it been happening? have you installed any new sw that might be causing it? it could be some licence check for some program or even a failed windows update but just to be sure you don’t have something malicious running there, i would do a reinstall just to get peace of mind. it’ll probably be faster than trying to troubleshoot.
searxng.site is what i use. i didn’t even know it had different forks too
i was struggling with DDG too, but in another post i saw someone recommend searx and it is actually really good.
seems totally unusable for me too. even simple queries fail
literally any change or a new feature in any product of any company is only about collecting and selling your data, and never about making something actually better.
poop. it’s poop.
they have so many “yes men” around that they think every stupid thing they say is literally gold
