Web “Apps” are also quite bad. Lots of and lots of stuff we’re downloading and it feels clunky.
Sometimes that’s bad coding, poor optimization, third party libraries, or sometimes just including trackers/ads on the page.

I wonder if Elon is probably going to bail on Tesla after he gets all his SpaceX stock hooked into government contracts and stuff.
We hired a DBA that put a read lock on a production database table and went out to lunch.
What do you mean by “chased away”?
I think it’s a platform that they’re attracted to because they’re missing something in their lives.
Think you may need to build it from cargo/rust

This is kinda funny because I’ve installed it on Mint and Pop OS and I completely forgot how.

Nah man, I minify it so it’s one line…
wait how many files am I loading again? wait, 6000? nuts.
I use worktrees and I wondered the same question, so far here’s what I like:
git worktrees list
can show all the worktrees, you have for this same repo (not crazy value, I know)
git fetch
applies to all your worktrees
git stash / apply
can work across worktrees, so I can stash in one and apply it to another
You’re limited to a specific branch per worktree and many don’t like that but I typically work from a detached HEAD anyways.

I mean it seems almost impossible that they either didn’t have a staging process to test N number of machines either virtual or otherwise or it passed through but it just seems insane that a problem of this magnitude went out to this many people.
First time watching Lemmino and I’m an instant subscriber now, it was a great video. Not gonna lie the bait at the end was really enticing and I hope that this does get solved soon!

I think this editor is supposed to be super fast because of their GPU or whatever libraries. It’s also supposed to be written in Rust.
So far there’s no extensions and just on Mac. Maybe when those open up I’ll take a closer look.
I’m not the person you’re replying to but for me, I used to get random headaches and jitters and I feel more consistent now.
The problem is the withdrawal period can be hard for some. It was for me, but overall worth it in the end.
I think it’s why having good labour laws and unions are so important. Many people think tech workers are spoiled and would always will be so they’ll never need them. Don’t think they saw these mass firings and AI stuff coming.
