I like it! Sure, some rough edges, and a bit of technical difficulties due to the influx of Reddit refugees like me, but this seems like a much friendlier, more real community.

IIRC from reading about Bluesky, its strategy for dealing with spammer, trolls, hate speech, etc., was to have various servers in the Federation tag posts, users & servers with a “Spam” tag or “Hate speech” tag, and server admins can set their servers to not display posts so tagged, and to not pass them on to other servers.

Old.reddit.com should continue to work for a while, maybe RES can be modified to tweak the site to be mobile-friendly.

But that would just be a holding action. Spez wants to kill old Reddit, so he can inflict more He Grifts Us ads on users. Enshittification continues…
