pds != router though.
theres only a single router in existence run by bluesky, so this would make the official first non-bluesky controlled router?

are they going to run their own router, or are they still beholden to the bluesky board? ie, is this just another pds stuck in the bluesky walled garden?

the piece that makes me nervous is the selling off of government owned properties. its one of the most valuable and stable assets the government owns and hes attempting to sell it off… some of it we would then have to lease from private owners.
who needs checks and balances when you support a dictator? the constitution is toilet paper to these people.
as if forcing everyones retirement into the practically unregulated stock market wasnt already the worst gamble in american history… lets make our reserve even less stable.
awesome. super genius moves here. congress isnt asleep at the wheel, theyre comatose. they might as well not exist.

smells like the mobile data isnt honoring the split tunnel dns comin from the vpn. the mobile provider is doin some funny business with your dns on that device
if you distance yourself from every company that has a dick executive, youre going to need to go off-grid. good luck.
i get it… its still a quality service despite that one shithead exec
This came and went as a trend.
how along ago was that? before 11? before 8? shits come a long way even in just the last 5 years. linux on the desktop is out-of-the-box at least as capable as windows 7, and mint has a lovely curated app store for easy app installs.
with as cheap as commoditized hardware has become, im surprised there isnt anyone offering mint on a desktop/laptop thereby saving the microsoft tax.
i was under the impression ssl is port-agnostic except in configuration where you apply it to a service on a port.
80/443 are just defaults… configure it right, and it shouldnt matter what port you need it on
check out gluetun
might help. i use it for setting a torrent container to use an openvpn container as its only outbound
they also recently stated ‘we designed it traffic heavy at the relay with the expectation that only big companies would manage relays’ as their admitted ‘decentralization’ strategy. ya know, instead of coming up with something more actually distributed. it really feels like they have no intention of true federation.
i dont care that meta owns threads. its just another server.
im going to be the change i want to see. i want to educate people on what they have the opportunity for and maybe not generalize on what an entire, diverse population of humans ‘wants’.
weird how ya get downvotes for what is clearly a requested personal opinion… 'What are your favorite communities for AI discussion?"
