I imagine it varies wildly by distro, hardware, use-case, etc.

Linux systems usually consume more energy than identical systems with other operating systems
Is this true?
I got a Framework, and the 16:10 aspect ratio allows for the two bars without messing up most applications as they’re mostly geared toward 16:9. Full screen games go over both bars. It’s nice.
I literally had the opposite experience lol. Just got NewPipe and it seems to work fine.
Suck shit, Google.
As someone who’s (re) vanced stopped working today, one thing about using my browser instead was the inability to switch to a different app or lock my screen without pausing.
I fucking hate that shit. Made solely so they could sell it as a “bonus feature” for subscribing to their pay service.
Could you imagine if it was though? Shit would be dope.

Sounds like a skill issue.
Yes, my EOS/KDE brother/sister/enby
Switched from Windows about a year ago, and have felt zero need to even try another distro or desktop environment.
I thought this was a D&D alignment chart at first… And yes, Inkjet printers are chaotic evil.
I don’t know, I can comprehend it just fine.
You don’t think there could be some kind of selection bias built in? That maybe the kind of people that go through the effort to install an extension like that may tend to vote a certain way on certain videos? What makes you think that the sample would be representative of the collective whole of YouTube users in any way whatsoever?
Why do people use the return dislikes extensions? It’s not going to be accurate in any way since YouTube no longer makes that data available. So whatever source they’re using, its bullshit.
And so was the Beer Hall Putsch. How did that turn out in the log run?
Yeah let’s call it what it is, a straight up coup attempt.
Unless I’m mistaken, highlighting new comments was a reddit gold feature, not RES.
So good though. The whole season is.
fork bomb
Did someone invite Ritchie over for Christmas dinner?
No? The Bear? Anybody…?
Lol I was actually wondering something similar. That, or they haven’t said anything out of fear of sounding rude.
I talk to them regularly though, and told my dad that I’m still logged in and watching it, so I hope he would have said something if it wasn’t working…
Surely use-case is important? Someone running a server that’s on 24/7 vs. someone running it on a laptop or desktop that they shut down every day.
