Edit: Interestingly, I was eventually able to join Kbit magazines by pasting the full URL into the search - it seems like this works but using the ! format doesn’t, at least on my server.

I’m not able to join magazines on fedia.io either.

Some of the popular servers are probably struggling right now, so it might have just needed a do-over.

I’m still figuring out this stuff too though so who knows!
