The mobile app is what drives me to try Bear again, but then Bear is too limiting so I end up back in Obsidian, and back and forth and back and forth.

Obsidian is such a nerd-friendly software, I’d be surprised if it didn’t have a presence in the fediverse!

I read a book called Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents. My mom is similar, and it gave me a lot of insight into why she behaves the way she does, and how I may have developed unhealthy coping mechanisms as a result. Highly recommend.

I fill it with article notes, journal entries, and project plans that I’ll never look at again for the rest of my life.

This is how I’ve been thinking of it too. If an equivalent open-source solution comes out, it’ll be really easy to switch to, but right now Obsidian is just unbeatable.
