The last sentence of the article clears this up.
That will mean users putting in the work to make sure they remain safe, accessible, noncommercial and well respected.
I agree. That was one of the main sites I used to determine buying the Sony Bravia. Turns out they were spot on about everything. I’ll use that site again I’m sure.
I never have this problem using uBlock Origin.
Thanks for sharing that article. ATproto and ActivityPub are very different indeed. I can understand why someone would be hesitant to join if they preferred the way ActivityPub is structured.
They should just use activity pub.
Well, they’ve already stated that they are going to be using ATproto.

Read the last bits at the end of the article though:
Firefox does collect and share some data with its partners, Mozilla said, including data that helps to power its optional ads on the New Tab page in the browser and for sponsored suggestions in the search bar, which are detailed in its Privacy Notice. However, the company says that the user data it does share is stripped of personally identifying information and is only shared in aggregate.
Users can continue to adjust their own data-sharing settings in the browser, Mozilla also said.
Personally, this doesn’t compel me to stop using Firefox.
I certainly understand where you are coming from. If time tells that they’re disingenuous then I’ll move to a fork or something else entirely.
I’ve been using Firefox since its inception. I just want to wait until the dust settles before I decide what to do.
In the four years that I’ve been an admin here I’ve only seen one CSAM case. I don’t want to see another one. It was very difficult dealing with it on a personal level.
