I remember my school had no idea how you should set up computers before letting first graders use them so we were all constantly dragging all the applications into the trash can to hear the fun noise and see the little puff of dust.

They also all had a copy of Type to Learn Jr installed, which we were strictly forbidden from opening, and every time we were using the computers multiple people would get in trouble for playing it. A few years ago I got a couple of cheap iBook G3 laptops and the first thing I did was install Type to Learn Jr and finally play it all the way through

Honestly I’m just hoping that maybe if enough people call him out maybe he’ll change and I can use hyprland again without feeling guilty. I know he doesn’t gain anything monetarily from users I just don’t want to give him the publicity he gets from people seeing me using his software.

Obligatory reminder the hyperland lead developer is a jerk who refuses to acknowledge any of the times he’s mistreated people. I can’t really blame you for using it though it though it is an absolutely fantastic compositor and if vaxry ever genuinely apologizes I’ll probably go back to using it

I really like it, the ai stuff can mostly just be ignored but the ai button on mobile is really big and annoying. My biggest issue with it is that there’s no way to download documents you made using a cloud account, but I think they’re planning on adding that

Honestly I kind of hate this font, I’m definitely going to change it if it becomes the default. It looks too much like Arial and I think both are horrible, especially for UIs

Sometimes this is true, but sometimes UI updates really are just bad. Euro Truck Simulator 2 redid its UI in 1.50 and it’s so much harder to use. Everything used to just be convenient buttons and information on the main menu, now everything is in really confusing menus and even though it’s been out for a few months now I still have so much trouble using it and it feels so good to go back to an older version with a good UI. (Also the new UI is just horrendously ugly because they made everything completely flat but that’s just personal taste I guess)

I realized a while ago that there’s nothing stopping me from writing rust like this

Hyprland is really nice and I really miss using it but I stopped after learning that one of the main developers is kind of a transphobic jerk and was mistreating people in the hyprland discord server

You can add multiple entries per day but if I remember correctly it’s not great at displaying them in a useful way which is unfortunate

Honestly I feel like good mobile file managers are just like impossible with the small screen size. I just do everything from termux
