AFAIK they’re not seriously considering it as a keyword, but they agreed that in all discussion about the semantics of exceptions they will use “yeet” as a placeholder for the keyword, so people will actually discuss the semantics and not whether the keyword is gonna be “raise”, “throw”, “except” or whatever (so-called Bikeshed Effect)

Dass der Strom teurer wird, weil wegen der Wärmepumpen die Nachfrage steigt. Außer natürlich da, wo die Wärmepumpe eine Widerstandsheizung ersetzt, aber die sind meines Wissens in Deutschland eh selten.

Und nur damit mich niemand falsch versteht, ich halte Wärmepumpen für eine gute Technologie. Aber sie verbrauchen Strom, insofern ist es nicht abwegig, dass sie Befürchtungen steigender Strompreise auslösen. Mag sein, dass der Mehrverbrauch durch ein krasses Wachstum bei Wind und Solar ausgeglichen werden wird, aber offenbar haben nicht alle Leute 100% Vertrauen darin.

Oder dass der Strom so teuer wird, dass man sich das Backen nicht mehr leisten kann. Beim Licht wird der teure Strom ja durch die effizienteren Lampen ausgeglichen, aber ein Elektrobackofen ist halt immer noch gleich (in)effizient wie vor 40 Jahren, da hauen die gestiegenen Preise schon rein.

Zur innerlichen Desinfektion. Meine Ex hat Chlorbleiche zu dem Zweck verwendet, aber das ist mir dann doch ein wenig zu hardcore, da bleib ich lieber beim Sprit.

That’s intentional. So if one part of the code suffers a random mutation and spontaneously develops a bug, the redundant code can still ensure the proper functioning of the program while the bug gets fixed.

Just take care if you merge two branches that contain the same bug; you might end up with a program without functional redundant code. That’s why you should never merge closely related branches.
