

Is joining a union an individual action or a social circumstance?
I guess my point is that environment (social circumstance) and individual behavior is a gradient. Drawing a clear line between the two so that “individual behavior” is the largest share might actually be unhealthy framing as it takes out of focus how an individual might improve their circumstances.
Individual behavior basically includes what kind of job you’re working, because that definitely impacts much of those other behaviors like sleep and quality of food.
In b4 someone defends TYT: Cenk has basically said he is kissing ass because he thinks he can be strategic and talk them into populist economic positions. Problem is, the right uses him to say how the left has no good ideas.
If you’re referring to the legacy media, Trump is targeting them with lawsuits and threatening to pull their broadcasting license.
If you’re referring to internet media, like The Young Turks, then it has more to do with personalities not wanting to loose their relative privilege (access).
I wonder if this guy is disliked by Americans as much they dislike that UHC CEO, or is it more?
They don’t have a problem with what is being done, just who are the ones doing it.

Yeah, translating “size of their contribution” to a dollar amount is going to be inherently political. If they’re leaving it open ended to let projects figure it out then that could go poorly…
Reading their solutions is interesting; wanted to call out the following because it plays nice if you don’t agree with their whole prescription:
Don’t dilute the Open Source brand. Post-Open will never call itself Open Source, because it has different rules. The Post Open license actually enforces that.
I don’t think having a diversity in viewpoints on whether kids have rights is something to celebrate.
It’s all about individual freedom until you start asking libertarians about the rights of kids and contractual indentured servitude.
