    Linus Torvalds is the single point of failure in the damn keeping back the enshittification of Linux. I truly hope he’s training a pridigy to take over when he’s no longer able.

      I think when Linus dies, there’ll be a bunch of forks of the Linux kernel. A bunch of them will go to shit but one or two will prevail, possibly leading to even more infighting in the Linux community :3

        I wonder if another kernel will ever start competing with Linux - there’s more and more Unix-like OSes being made with microkernels nowadays
